A-CLASS
- All drivers must be at least 12 years of age in calendar year 2023.
- Stock throttle body fuel injection or carbs on alcohol
- 600cc max; Stock Bore and Stroke
- No porting or polishing of head
- Full transmission must be in place and operable
- Full charging system must be in place and working
- No alteration of timing gear will be allowed
- ASCS2/KS1/POWRi/American Racer MD57 stamped spec tire
- NO CHEMICAL PREP allowed or tolerated. Samples must conform to factory benchmark as performed and tested by Blue Ridge Race Labs. All non conforming samples will result in a 2 race suspension and loss of points and pay from that night.
- Top wing is not to exceed a 10 sq. foot center section, 24”x48” left sideboard, and 18” x 48” right sideboard.
- Nose wings will be allowed. a maximum of 24″x18″ belly with 8″ tall side boards is permitted.
- No in car adjustments (shocks, wing, panhard, etc.)
- Weight: minimum car and driver weight 750 lbs.
- Winner of the Sportsman feature is subject to $3250 claim rule for motor, oil pan and thermostat housing. 2nd place finisher is allowed to claim. If he/she doesn’t, 3rd place finisher is allowed to claim. Motor owner will have either to the end of the next feature, or 15 minutes, whichever is longer. If claim is accepted, motor owner must have tools present and no more than 2 pit members are allowed in barn. If claim is denied, driver loses points and pay for that night and will not be allowed to race Sportsman class for the remainder of the season.
ALL 600CC CLASSES: RESTRICTOR, SPORTSMAN CLASS, OUTLAW WING AND OUTLAW NON-WING
- ALL CARS ARE SUBJECT TO BORE AND STROKE CHECK AT ANYTIME
- During bore and stroke check, all plugs must be removed and motor must be turned over via the timing port. NO BUMPING OF CAR WILL BE ALLOWED. Refusal to adhere to our tech procedures will result in automatic disqualification and constitute as refusal of tech.
- All 600 cars will have either a fuel bladder or RCI fuel cell
- Hoosier and American Racer tires may be used. Sportsman must use compounds listed in class rules above for right rear only.
- All cars must have a metal firewall between the Driver and the engine compartment. Minimum of 24 gauge or .0625 thickness aluminum.
- Chain guards will be installed on all cars using a minimum of .090 aluminum material or equivalent.
- On and off switches must be on the dash.
- Roll cages shall be a least 1 1/8 inch, .065 wall thickness or 1 ¼ inch .065 wall thickness.
- Roll cages must have sufficient fore and aft bracing.
- All cages shall be made of chromoly steel or equivalent.
- All cars must be equipped with nerf bars which may not extend beyond the rear tire.
- Cars must have floor pans extending from the driver’s feet to the front of the seat.
- All wet cell batteries mounted in the cockpit area must be covered and vented outside the cockpit area.
- All cars will have top wings at least 10 square feet, and a maximum of 16 square feet.
- The following safety items are required: Name brand flame retardant uniform, five point racing style harness, racing system, shoes, arm restraints, flame retardant gloves, and neck brace or helmet restraint. Seat belt must be no older than 3 years old.
